http://www.upc.edu/The Department of Chemical Engineering of UPC will participate to the RED Heat-to-Power project via the following two research groups: The Separation Technologies Group (SETRI) has extensive expertise in various membrane processes and ion exchange/adsorption. The Innovation in Materials Group (IMEM) group focuses on the development of novel polymer materials and on molecular modelling. In RED Heat-to-Power UPC will be applying its expertise in transport phenomena in Ion Exchange Membranes and will support the development of novel membranes.
