CIEMAT - PSA
CIEMAT is a Spanish Public Research Institution dependent of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. It has several research centers, one of them being Plataforma Solar de Almería. CIEMAT-PSA is formally considered by the European Commission as a European Large Scientific Installation. CIEMAT-PSA is actively working in research and demonstrative applications of different solar thermal technologies, with the main objective of improving the technology cost and efficiency of the use of solar thermal energy for electricity production and water treatment.
